Diversity in Animation focusses on the very best of LGBT animation cinema from all around the world, giving the festival a distinctive identity. The
programme contains the following official sections: International Competition (shorts and features/ Popular Jury, Technical
Jury and Festival Jury), Filmography Special Program (shorts ans features from a invited director), Retrospective (shorts
and fetures – winners and finalists of the previous edition of the festival) and Parties.
Understanding, tolerance, respect and appreciation of sexual diversity are key topics for the Brazilians and foreigners short and feature animation films selected for the event.
